Meegan is a warm and engaged qualified counsellor with a calming and relaxed presence. She is based in Australia in Sydney’s Inner West and offers both in-person and telehealth video sessions. Meegan has a long-standing interest in natural health and well-being and her journey with rare chronic illness, trauma, burn-out and related anxiety provide her with insight and compassion for those struggling with everyday living. She brings kindness, mindfulness and body awareness to sessions and, with a holistic focus, uses a variety of tools designed to help clients understand how all facets of their life shape their experiences and emotions. Together, you will look into what is happening for you and why, and work towards developing healthier behaviours and a calmer and more comfortable state of being. Meegan is the author of a recent paper examining the effects of the pandemic on mental health in Australia: The Shadow Pandemic: Three Reforms for the Post-Pandemic Mental Healthcare System. She previously worked as director of events for a public policy think tank, and as a freelance writer and editor.
